Dear Braden,
You were blessed in church today, and we just wanted to let you know how sad we are that we couldn't be there. I'm sure your mom has told you that we're living in Ohio right now (along with Aunt Mallory and Uncle Brent). The rise in gas prices made the cost of plane tickets skyrocket recently and we just couldn't afford it. Don't worry, though, we'll be at every big event in your life after this. Even though we haven't had a chance to meet you yet, we also want to let you know that we love you very much and you will be spoiled very well by us. Look forward to that!
