Mom and Dad's Christmas List

Due to excessive pressure, I am now submitting a Christmas list. Several of you can go in together if you would like. I really do not want a lot because Dad and I are serious about remodeling the house and I don't want to store stuff.

1. I would like that fancy deep well sandwich cooker that they advertise on a tv infomercial. It can make corndogs and other exciting foods. You can purchase it for just two small payments of 19.95--and they include the specially made rubber spatula for removing food from the wells!

2. I would like a deep 12 - 14 inch teflon frying pan.

3. I would like that book that the girls bought at Deseret Book when we were up for Toren and Audrey's reception.

4. I would like an I Pod so that I can listen to music as I drive up and down to Grandma's house.

Love,

Mom
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay, my turn. Like mom, don't need or want much from Santa.

1. A couple highlighter pen(s) for scriptures.
2. A tie. I'm thinking red (not a bright red) or maroon. Something that goes with browns or greys.
3. Book: Ripley's Believe It Or Not (Costco always has these each Christmas. Kind of expensive...~$15, so you might consider going in together.)
4. Costco Court tennis shoes. Size 12. I think they only come in "old man" white, but some other color (black/blue?) would be nice if available. (Expensive so you might consider as a joint gift.)
5. A gift certificate for Hagan's Chinese food! (Ahh so.....)
6. Cashews

As you can see, I don't need anything this year. It will just be good to have everyone home during the holidays.

Love,

Dad

Christmas Lsit Continued

sorry I posted it on accident, so here is the continuation... With the clothes I would really rather have more clothes at a cheaper cost. Brent is looking for clothes that will work better for his internship and law school. Basically we just want some fun stuff which we really can't afford otherwise like clothes or Brent keeps talking about camping stuff... maybe some inexpensive sleeping bags or something, gift cards are always nice as long as they aren't to target or bed bath and beyond! Well I think that is it. Oh, Brent's family always loads me up on Bath and body works so NO bath stuff please. Please note that we have a very small place so nothing big.... sorry this is so none descriptive but we really don't know what we want that we would use, everyone else better have their list up soon! Thank you!

Christmas List

We both don't want a lot and we really don't want anything expensive, so look for cheap. If you are unsure about something for brent I would hold off he can be really picky.

Brent
- white/colored shirts 17/36-37
- capo (gituar thingy)(CHEAP)
- Black Dress shoes (INEXPENSIVE) size 11
- Dress Socks

Mallory
- CLOTHES!!!
I really don't want anything expensive I would rather have quanitty over quality. Mainly shirts and skirts (L-XL)
- socks, plain white ones
- A brown, nice jacket for church something

UPDATE!!!!

Hey Guys!
I am just checking to make sure this works, and if it does thank you Maren and Blake for making it work. So I guess if this works I should update everyone on what is happening in the huntley household.
My biggest news is that I have finished all of my homework for the rest of the semester and so now I just have to study for my finally quizzes and finals and then I am home free. I have finally declared a major of Sociology and will graduate next December, and then hopefully start law school the fall after. I am doing an internship at Heritage schools, where I am currently employed and think it is pretty nice because all I do it answer phones and deal with angry parents.
Brent is not nearly are proactive as I am with his school work, but I suppose it is because he is taking 21.5 credits and has a lot more on his plate. He is currently working on two 25 page papers, and I am doing a very good job of distracting him whenever I can, just joking of course. His law applications to BYU, DUKE, and U of W have all been submitted, and he is applying at three more, which he has received fee waivers for and we are looking at Vanderbilt, Cornell, William and Mary, Washington University, Washington and Lee, Illinois, Georgetown, and Notre Dame. He has received many full ride scholarships offers as well as schools who also offer him a free lap top and foot rub! We are looking at selling his truck as soon as possible, and hopefully it will be sold before Christmas.
Our little homestead is holding up well and we have yet to turn on our heater which we are pretty excited about, although it may seem odd. Brent would like me to mention that we bought two new book cases; one from target, which we still have over 300 dollars from wedding gift cards, and one was my incredible find at DI! Brent is still selling books on Amazon, and he is having fun keeping the new shelves full with "great finds!" I am still working at Heritage and for the most part like it a lot. I am also volunteering at a program called STRIDE, which for the most part is a joke of a program, but the kids are wonderful so I like sticking around.
Well that is about it for us and we will have a Christmas list up tomorrow and at some point we will have wedding pictures posted!
Thanks! Mallory and Brent!

Christmas Lists

After a lot of thought, Blake and I have come up with a small list of things we would like for Christmas.

Blake:
1. white church shirt & "power" tie (note the word power)
2. Running shoes
3. Zip-up sweatshirt (kind of like the stylish ones Toren has, no BIG logos)
4. Socks (long ones, size 9 1/2)
5. Baseball mit (nothing fancy, just practical)

Maren:
1. Running shoes
2. Softball mit (nothing fancy, just practical)
3. Slippers (size 9)
4. Books: New Moon & Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer

Baby Barnett (aka: Braden):
1. Clothes
2. Caps or beanies
3. Candy (for daddy)

We really don't need or want a whole lot this Christmas. These are just some suggestions of those things we could use. Let me know if you have any questions.

23 weeks down, 17 to go

I can't believe I am over half way done being pregnant. I am finally feeling better and am sure that I am making up all the weight I lost in the first 16 weeks. Poultry still doesn't sit well with me, so I don't even try. Here is the latest picture of me and my big belly.

Blake and I worked all day yesterday getting the baby's room in order. We figured we might as well put in the manual labor now while I can still help. We painted, put the crib together and put things in their proper place. We are still waiting for our new bedroom furniture to come before we move over his dresser. That will make the room look complete. This is a picture of the cute crib Grandma & Grandpa Forsberg got us. (mom & dad, that makes you sound old!) I am sure he will love it. I know Blake and I do. Thank you for the crib, it wouldn't be a baby room without it.

I hope everyone uses this. It will be a great way to find out what law schools Brent is applying to and what big dates Blair has. Look forward to seeing what people write.
